I was so elated to be invited as a guest author to the Burst Into Books book club meeting because I thought it would be a great opportunity to share my book; however, actually being there meant so much more! The Burst Into Books team not only supported my book professionally and effectively, they also welcomed my toddler with open arms and encouraged his excitement about reading. I am so impressed with this program and all the potential it has to touch the lives of so many young people!

Burst Into Books is such a phenomenal program for youth. What I really appreciate about Burst Into Books is their ability to to engage kids through reading especially while technology and other outside influences are always competing for their attention. I was asked to be a guest speaker at one of their book club events and I was amazed at the level of appreciation the children had for reading and writing and programs like Burst Into Books just continues to reinforce that desire and interest.
